1. Information We Collect

Kongatrader collects only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information — email address and password (stored securely via Supabase).
  • Billing information — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. Kongatrader never stores card numbers or payment details.
  • Usage data — basic logs to diagnose errors and improve reliability.

The desktop application stores all broker credentials (API keys, OAuth tokens) locally on your machine in an encrypted SQLite database. This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and gate access to the desktop application.
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
  • To respond to support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Kongatrader uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.

Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account data remains until you request deletion. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@kongatrader.com.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and encrypted local storage for broker credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the service at your own risk.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
